Fancy building the people function and strategy of a growing business in transformation?

RedGreen Partners are looking for a Head of People for an exciting, consumer-facing hospitality and leisure brand. The business is private equity backed, scaling quickly and moving into its next chapter. Expect more structure, more pace and a sharper commercial edge, while keeping the culture that made it successful.

This role sits right at the centre of that journey.

Reporting to the CEO, working closely with the board and taking ownership of the full employee lifecycle from frontline recruitment through to leadership capability, performance, reward and culture. The team is yours to grow and develop.

This is not a policy-heavy or purely strategic role. It’s hands-on, high-impact and focused on making things work in a real operational environment.

What you’ll be doing

In a multi-site, frontline-heavy operation with seasonal demand, you will:

  • Turn ambitious growth plans into a practical people strategy that delivers
  • Shape organisation design as new sites, roles and layers are added
  • Advise the CEO and board on talent, succession, people risk and organisational health
  • Build line manager capability and raise leadership standards across the business
  • Introduce fit-for-purpose frameworks for reward, performance and development
  • Act as a visible cultural leader while building consistency at scale
  • Handle complex employee relations matters with sound judgement and commercial realism
  • Build and lead a strong HR team, along with systems and data that support better decision-making

About you

You are a People leader who enjoys pace, growth and building things. You are just as comfortable on site as you are in the boardroom.

You will likely have:

  • Experience in a scaling, multi-site environment. Hospitality, leisure, retail or similar sectors are ideal
  • Experience working in a business moving from founder-led to a more structured, investor-backed model
  • A track record of building HR foundations including recruitment at scale, reward frameworks, performance and leadership capability
  • Strong UK employment law knowledge combined with sound commercial judgement
  • A hands-on, resilient and collaborative style, with the confidence to be visible and roll your sleeves up

What’s on offer

  • c£80,000 base salary
  • Bonus up to 25%
  • Share options and long-term incentive plan
  • Hybrid working with regular travel across sites – you don’t need to live in North Wales to apply!
